I believe all students can be successful if they do the work and have confidence in their abilities, but they also sometimes needs assistance and that is okay. I believe in making all students feel welcome and part of their educational journey in an open and safe way. Once there is trust the work can begin.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from York University in Fine Arts and then went on to complete my Master’s Degree in Education at Nipissing University. I also hold a teaching certification in the province of Ontario, Canada.I have always been a life long learner and love to learn new ways to help my students succeed. I completed my masters of education a few years ago at Nipissing University. I love professional teaching opportunities to learn new ways to promote life long learning and excitement in my classrooms.

I have been teaching since 2003. Since 2009 I have been teaching in adult education working with students whom are upgrading their skills in math and literacy. I also have taught part time in the faculty of education at Nipissing University in North Bay Ontario.

I continue to paint and draw in my spare time and read as well as stay fit with running. I also am a parent to two boys who are very busy and involved in hockey and I help to manage their hockey team. I also help them with their homework and school at home when need be.
