I believe all students can learn and it is up to me to find a way to teach that will match my students’ abilities and style of learning. Every one deserves an education and I am committed to making that happen for my students. I enjoy teaching students with special needs.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree State University of New York at Geneseo in Elementary and Special Education. I also attended Western Governors University where I received my Master’s Degree in Education in Technology.

I have been a substitute teacher for over seven years. I have taught in many different classrooms and types of classrooms. I have also tutored several elementary students with special needs such as ADHD and various other learning disabilities.

I am interested in art and publishing such as newspapers, newsletters, yearbooks or books written by children. When I was in high school I participated in art club, yearbook club, and I was a graphic artist before becoming a teacher.
