I believe in teaching the whole child. They need nurturing academically, physically, spiritually, and emotionally as well. All kids can learn. They just have to be exposed to opportunities in a variety of ways.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University. I am a certified teacher in Texas and also have a Reading Endorsement.

I taught school for 25 yrs. in both the public and private school sector. I have taught and been successful in a variety of grade levels, capabilities, and groupings. I love teaching the gifted as well as the learning disabled. Each child is an open book.

I love sports, both viewing and participating. I am supportive of my son in all of his sports activities.I enjoy cooking and experiencing new dishes. I love reading many genres of literature. I am also involved in my local church.
