My teaching style is very student centered. I make myself available to students in a variety of formats in an effort to meet their individual needs. I have over seven years of online teaching experience and over 12 years in education. My organizational and management skills are excellent, as is my ability to coordinate and complete several tasks at the same time. With a BA in English from Purdue University, a M.A.T. with an emphasis in English from University of Houston-Downtown, and a PhD in Education at Northcentral University with an emphasis on online learning, and my experience in teaching, I make an excellent teacher.

I’ve spent 10 years teaching English in public high school, 4 years tutoring English, ACT and SAT prep, and 10 years teaching online college courses in English and Communications.

I enjoy swimming. I support my children at tae kwon do. I take Krav Maga classes for fitness training. Mostly, my time is spent raising a family. Any other free time I have is spent reading in a variety of subject areas.
