EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Philosophy: when this word arises in conversations, most people become very uncomfortable. The underlying truth is everyone has a philosophy supporting what he or she believes.
My philosophy of education is that students need to be taught using various teaching methods, by a confident, well organized teacher.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I have a Bachelor of Music Education, a Bachelor of Education and a Certificate for Teaching and Training Adults. I have been teaching for over 20 years in a variety of capacities to students of all ages.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching students music for 20 years and at summer music camps, as well as teaching adults in corporations to learn their jobs and further develop their skills.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I am an active volunteer with Tiny Paws Dog Rescue, which involves fostering dogs in my home and completing adoption applications.
