I believe in nurturing a person intellectually, spiritually and physically. Education is so much more than a curriculum. It is about educating the ENTIRE person, whether it’s a child or adult, about the important aspects of life. Learning comes in all various capacities and how we teach comes in all various capacities.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Michigan University and am certified to teach in the states of Michigan and Colorado.

I have been teaching now for over three years and LOVE MY JOB. I have had a plethora of experiences from a teaching position in Colorado teaching 5th grade, to paraprofessional positions, to teaching kindergarten to being a long term substitute. I’ve done it all and I love it!

I love cooking and hosting. I am a total foodie and vintage loving person who absolutely adores entertaining and making others feel valued in my home. When I’m not planning lessons, you can definitely find me outside hiking and enjoying nature or in the kitchen!
