EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Education is paramount for personal success. Without education society is lost; likewise, without education our society (American Society) will spiral into chaos. An education should be well-rounded and include practical life instruction. I believe it is the responsibility of the teacher to provide curriculum specific instruction that is linked directly to student specific education, career, and life goals.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I am a perpetual student. I am a product of public education: public elementary, middle and high school. I continued my personal education as a teacher in a public middle school. I believe that a well rounded education is extremely important; therefore, I continue studying new areas of education.
I received a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Master’s Degrees in Education and Educational Administration and Leadership.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I taught in the public school setting for eleven years and tutored students after school for over 10 years. I also taught online for 2 years.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Teaching never really stops for me. I spend much of my free time teaching 16-19 year old Pennsylvania residents Behind-The-Wheel Driving. Otherwise, I am in a weekly bowling league and am an avid reader. I enjoy short road trips and casual Sunday drives.
