I believe that every student is unique in both needs and strengths. It is the job of teachers and tutors to tap into each student’s strengths and passions in order help them reach their full potential.
I attended the University of Florida, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree. I majored in English and minored in Florida Teaching (Education). I am now working towards my Master of Social Work degree at Florida State University.
I taught ESE Math, Language Arts, and Study Skills to students in grades 6-8 at a charter school in Tampa, FL.
I have volunteered with several organizations including Habitat for Humanity and Rooterville Animal Sanctuary. I also enjoy watching and analyzing film, playing music, and experimenting with alternative photography. I also like to spend time outdoors, where I can appreciate nature.
