EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I enjoy being a part of an educational institution where initiative and leadership skills will be used to help enhance that institution, and to expand the language skills of youth via preparing students to become leaders in a globalized economy via developing critical thinking skills through education.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I am a trained Graduate Teacher. I graduated from the University of the West Indies where I pursued a Masters in Education, a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Postgraduate diploma in education.
I am a Teacher of Spanish with extensive experience in Language Education at all levels of the education system in the United States, Jamaica and the Bahamas. I have been a teacher for 16 years and have served in the capacity of both classroom teacher and lecturer.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have experience as a teacher, teaching assistant and tutor for many years.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I am a Zumba Instructor. I also enjoy drama and participate in drama, glee and choir clubs as much as I can.
