Chalk Talk: The Importance of Empowering Children

While kids are growing up, they go through stages when they don't feel so great about themselves. They feel awkward and unsure, they think they are too skinny, too tall, too short or not smart enough. Whatever the reason, most children will go through a stage when he or she does not feel good about him or herself. Help your child move through this stage by finding out what motivates them. Help your child find his or her passion and embrace it. Find out what interests him or her, what makes them happy. A child who is happy, content and has confidence will have better experiences in school, have better relationships with others and believe in themselves and their own abilities. Help build self-confidence and self-esteem in one child and you will be creating a more positive future for us all.
