Chalk Talk: Seeking Help from the Community

Many times school systems reach out to community businesses and individuals for assistance in raising money for various necessities. When a school wants to purchase something that is meaningful for its students it is necessary to find the funds from somewhere, and that is usually not from the funding that is already available. Therefore, in order to receive any new items, such as band uniforms, football equipment, trips to camps, or anything else needed for extra-curricular items, fundraising is usually the way to get the money raised.
