The goal of the early Math curriculum is to help students gain knowledge of numbers, measurement, fractions, and shapes. The middle school curriculum progresses students to algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics. And the high school curriculum presents a multifaceted approach to geometry, statistics, and algebra.

The Science curriculum begins with matter, earth, space, motion, and energy. Chalk Talk: Help Your Student Set a Schedule

Having a regular schedule helps relieve stress and enables students to get important tasks done in a timely fashion. First, if you do not have a schedule, establish one for yourself. Next, make a master schedule. This can be as simple as a pen and paper, or you may choose to purchase a planner for your student. Fill in the regularly occurring events like school, sports practice, music lessons, social gatherings, etc. Now schedule sleep time, hygiene time, homework time, and meal time. Let the student have as much input as possible, and be sure that he or she has a watch and an alarm clock. It will take three or four weeks for your student to get used to the new schedule; during that time, offer encouragement and gentle reminders. Once the student has established a personal schedule, allow free time to be spent however he or she would like.
