Delaware Tutors

Everyone learns in a different manner. This makes it vital to allow individuals to find the unique tools and techniques that best meet his or her needs. By allowing each person to learn in a different way, success is a more obtainable achievement.
I believe every student deserves an amazing education and, with an amazing education, they can love learning. Some of my best teachers have shown me how much fun learning can be and I aspire to do this in my classroom also. Through tutoring, I have seen children grow and make continuous progress, which is so rewarding. I believe education is not only a learning experience, but also a growth process. In the classroom, students not only learn material, but also learn more about themselves.
My educational philosophy is to create a positive, engaging student-centric environment and to expect excellence every day. Every student CAN learn and every student WANTS to learn. Students learn best with diagnostic-prescriptive instruction, spiral curriculum, and problem-based learning. Education is a life-long journey of discovery, collaboration, and perseverance.
