Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Edgerton District Curriculum
The high school science curriculum focuses in part on helping students develop an understanding of conducting proper scientific inquiries. Learners become adept at employing the scientific method, including the process of developing, testing, and rejecting hypotheses. Students evaluate prior research to determine the body of evidence currently available on a subject of interest. Students devise the most appropriate procedures for collecting evidence as part of their investigation into a topic.
As part of Edgerton’s personal financial literacy curriculum, students learn about managing money effectively. At the middle school level, learners devise simple budgets to illustrate the various monetary needs that a family has over the course of a month. There is also an examination of various financial products, including ATMs, credit cards, and checkbooks, as well as a discussion of how to properly utilize each. Planning for a successful financial future is another critical component of the curriculum.

- 1:1 iPad Program Adopted by Edgerton School District - Edgerton School District has implemented a 1:1 technology initiative to facilitate the development of 21st century skills. As part of the program, all students in the district will be issued an iPad Mini.
