Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Green River District Curriculum

- Green River High School Hall of Fame - The Green River High School Hall of Fame project was started over the summer in 2007. Research was done on all of the yearbooks starting with 1926. Students, staff and other community workers are recognized in five buildings on campus. Academic, sport and individual achievements are recognized from the early start of the 20th century to today.
- Sweetwater Extracurriculars - There are many activities that Sweetwater County School District #2 students can participate in. Various activities include band, debate, vocal and cheerleading. Sports include cross country, football, wrestling, swimming, tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer, golf and track and field. These extracurricular activities help promote and teach sportsmanship to all students involved.
- Nutrition Program - Meals are an important part in a student’s day. Sweetwater County School District #2 offers a strong nutrition program and free and reduced meals to students who qualify. The nutritional programs are also supported through the input of the community as it’s in everyone’s best interest to raise healthy kids.
