Greenfield District and Curriculum
Students are exposed to physical, earth and space, and life sciences throughout their educational career in Greenfield schools. Team sports and extracurricular clubs are offered to students at the high school level as well.

- Community Comes Together for Green-Central Scholarships Fundraiser - The annual two hour buffet and silent auction was held at Cougar Cuisine this year. Fourteen local restaurants participated and $8,400 was raised for Greenfield-Central scholarships.
- There's Plenty of Christmas Spirit at Eden Elementary - The YMCA after-school enrichment program provided some Christmas cheer to 55 Assisted Living individuals with the help of two dozen students. Cards, snow globes, and other decorations were made by the students and given out when the residents came to the school from Indianapolis.
- Students Participate in the Annual Riley Festival's Parade of Flowers - Hundreds of elementary school students participated in the Riley Festival’s Parade of Flowers. 400 to 500 students from St. Michael School and Greenfield-Central elementary schools traveled to the courthouse square to lay flowers at the feet of James Whitcomb Riley’s statue.
