- Community Classes Offered - The Board of Education of Greenville and Butler County is offering community classes for all who wish to participate. On Monday and Tuesday evenings the office provides a variety of courses on job placement, technology training, GED courses, and more. Grants as well as title funds supply the cost of the classes, which are on a first come first serve basis.
- New Playground - Greenville has a new playground! Bright Beginning's preschool had a cutting of the ribbon event which was sponsored by the chamber of commerce. There are now six additional areas of play for the preschoolers to enjoy! Greenville's Bright Beginnings brand new preschool playground was funded by the Chamber of Commerce and a sale of ferns by the preschool. It is to be utilized by the 54 students in grades Pre-K!
- New Assistant Principal - Mr. B. Marlow is now the new assistant principal at Greenville High School. Mr. Marlow has experience with serving the Greenville community by acting as an interim principal of Greenville High. Congratulations to Mr. Marlow! The Greenville Community looks forward to meeting him and welcoming him into this new position.
