- HHS Mock Trial - The Mock Trial Team at Hercules High School made it to the semi-final round of competition in the regional mock trial competitions. Students prepare exceptionally hard for this event and it is an impressive accomplishment.
- Family Science - The California Academy of Sciences is sponsoring a range of outreach efforts to connect families with the sciences. From museums to local environmental efforts, there are a number of activities that parents can appreciate, while brushing up on their science, with their kids.
- Artist of the Week - Each week a student from John Swett High School is chosen as the artist of the week. Any student who has create a piece of work can be recognized for this achievement. Their work and name are then showecased on the school website.
