In middle school, the English program uses basal series as well as a variety of novels to teach more advanced programs in reading, writing, and communication, as well as reading in social studies and science. In high school, students are taught research methods as well as reading, writing, and literature.

Math is taught as a stand-alone subject in kindergarten through Grade 12, as well as integrated with science.
