The framework for History is broad and encompasses many aspects of social, economic, and political history for students to understand. This develops conceptual awareness of change and continuity, systems of governance, economic systems, and many more areas. The English curriculum shapes the literacy and communication of students, and teaches analysis, interpretation, and personal expression.

The learning students engage in with their Math and Science education provides the basis for reasoning, process-oriented thinking, observation and evaluative thinking, and the means to solve problems. Chalk Talk: Early Decision

Early Decision (ED) is a type of college application that has become increasingly popular. They have an early due-date, which is usually November 1st. This presents challenges for many students, but it does come with the reward of a fairly quick response. Students usually receive a decision by mid-December. ED also carries some other benefits. It’s binding, which means students agree to attend that college if accepted. Because of this, the college tends to favor those applicants, which leads to a significantly higher acceptance rate. Of course, one drawback to the application being binding, is that students don’t have the freedom to choose another college to attend.
