Roseville District and Curriculum

The Roseville schools use a curriculum that details the standards and expectations for all students in all subjects. For English/Language Arts and Math, the schools follow the Common Core Standards. These provide a description of what students should learn within these subjects each year. The yearly expectations build upon each other so that while the foundation deepens, the knowledge increases.

Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Roseville District Curriculum

Keeping Informed: Recent Roseville Educational News

  • California Junior Scholarship Federation - This is a program open to students in grades 7 and 8. Students must apply and by being accepted are able to participate in academic challenges that help prepare them for the rigors of high school and college.
  • Builder's Club - Students at one area middle school have established a builder's club in which students are able to design, plan and build projects of all sorts. This is a great way to use creative energy and build something to last for the school.
  • Novel to Film Club - One unique offering at Roseville High School is a club that focuses on bringing novels to film. Students are able to work through all facets of project development and learn many useful project management skills.
