St. Paul Area District Curriculum We Follow

Students have core academic expectations in Math, Science, Language Arts, History and within the elective offerings. These are taught in a way so that skills and knowledge build yearly, enabling the development of
critical thinking skills. In St. Paul, one focus is on offering advanced classes so that students can achieve their goals. We offer tutoring
for the general curriculum, as well as for Advanced Placement classes.

Finally, in addition to its rigorous academic expectations for students, St. Paul also expects its parents to be prepared to help their
children through the post-secondary education experience. We are also happy to work with parents and students on college applications,
entrance essays and exams and assist with any facet of the post-secondary application process.

Chalk Talk: Finding Ways To Volunteer

Volunteering and service to the community is a big part of growing up in America in today's day and age. A good way to get involved but not take time away from one's studies is to volunteer as a tutor for the public school system. Passing your knowledge on to another can be gratifying; just ask any St. Paul public school teacher. Parents can also volunteer, helping to make their children's experiences richer and more diverse. Finally, consider helping those less fortunate; any school would be happy to see such initiative and good will.
