Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Winchester District Curriculum

It will also focus on writing, listening, and comprehension skills that will payoff for students both in the workforce and in college. In Mathematics, fewer topics are covered to provide a more in depth and deeper understanding of the subject material. In Science, the goals are to increase the literacy to allow students at all levels to be able to read and analyze material and form intelligent conclusions.
The district has an improvement plan in place designed to create the best learning environment possible for its students. Technology learning, elective courses and enrichment opportunities provide additional opportunities for students.
