I got involved in teaching because it was a “calling” for me. I had been in the business world for over 20 years and it was time for me to share my knowledge and help to motivate today’s youth. I firmly believe that everyone can succeed in school, it’s a matter of getting that drive and inner self-worth out of them and then the sky’s the limit.

I attended the University of South Carolina on a full-academic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. I recently attended the University of North Carolina – Charlotte and got my Graduate Certificate in Middle Grades Math. My GPA was a 4.0.

I taught middle school and high school math for 3 years and am now teaching middle grades Business/CTE.

I love spending time with my wife and two boys (10 & 12). I also enjoy music, playing guitar, hiking, mountain biking, camping, going to the YMCA and traveling. I am also in charge of FBLA at my school and enjoy training my students how to box after school.
