I believe all students can learn by being challenged to think outside the box through explicit direct instruction. Also learning is a process that needs to made to a life long skill for students.

I have a B.A. in Communications, M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction & M.A. In K-12 Educational Leadership. I am also endorsed in K-12 Reading have been trained in Reading research best practices.

I have taught secondary Language Arts, English, Reading and Writing for almost 13 years. I was a Literacy Coach for 9 years and Literacy Curriculum Specialist for almost 3 years.

I enjoy traveling, and doing activities outdoors. I enjoy going to museums to learn about history. I also enjoy going to new restaurants and trying new foods and spending time with family.
