I see myself as a facilitator of learning, rather than as an expert who simply delivers information to students. When planning a curriculum or interacting with students, I am always conscious of their different learning styles and rates, what they have already learned and what they will need to learn in the future.
I received an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree from Lakehead University. I also completed a Graduate Diploma of Education with my major teaching focus in Physical Education and my minor in Science and have also taken additional qualification courses in Special Education and Senior Biology.
I have been teaching in England for the past two years; one year a science teacher, the other as a supply teacher with a variety of subjects.
I helped organize and participated in high school leadership camps. I also participated in Peer Tutoring in high school.
