Angle in degrees is denoted by symbol \u00b0\u00a0 e.g. 50\u00b0. The radian is represented by \u2018rad\u2019 or by superscript c e.g. 45 rad or 45<sup>c<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>To convert between radian and degree we make use of the fact that 360\u00b0 is same as 2\u03c0 radians (\u03c0 is a greek symbol pi).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Converting radian to degree<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To convert the angle in radians to degrees, multiply the angle by 180\/\u03c0.<\/p>\n<p>i.e. degrees = radians \u00d7 180\/\u03c0<\/p>\n<p>For example, convert 3\u03c0 radian to degree.<\/p>\n<p>3\u03c0 \u00d7 180\/\u03c0= 3 \u00d7 180 = 540\u00b0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Converting degree to radian<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To convert the angle in degrees to radians, multiply by \u03c0\/180.<\/p>\n<p>i.e. radians = degrees \u00d7 \u03c0\/180<\/p>\n<p>For example, convert 270\u00b0 to radian.<\/p>\n<p>270 \u00d7 \u03c0\/180 = 3\u03c0\/2 radians<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Radian and Degree are the most commonly used units to measure angels.
