Together a quadrilateral is a polygon with four sides. i.e. it\u2019s a closed figure with 4 sides. A quadrilateral has 4 interior angles which add upto 360 degrees. There are different quadrilaterals which are classified into categories basing on their sides and angles which are listed below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Rectangle:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a rectangle, all four angles are right angles and the opposite sides are equal in length.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/SchoolTutoring.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/09\/quadri1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3508\" title=\"quadri1\" src=\"https:\/\/SchoolTutoring.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/09\/quadri1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"157\" height=\"104\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Square:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a square all four angles are right angles and all the sides are equal in length.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/SchoolTutoring.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/09\/quadri2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3509\" title=\"quadri2\" src=\"https:\/\/SchoolTutoring.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/09\/quadri2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"112\" height=\"97\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Rhombus:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a rhombus also all the sides are equal in length and the opposite sides are parallel. But the angles are not right angles. \u00a0The opposite angles are equal. Here, the adjacent sides are equal in length.
