Polygons are closed (all the lines joined) geometric figures made of straight lines.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Types of Polygons<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If all the angles and sides are equal, the polygon is called <strong>regular<\/strong> polygon, otherwise it is <strong>irregular<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/schooltutoring.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/poly1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-499\" src=\"https:\/\/schooltutoring.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/poly1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"365\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A <strong>simple<\/strong> polygon has only one boundary which does not cross over itself. No angel points inward.
