Present perfect tense is a type of present tense which is used:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For the action that has completed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>e.g. We have reached school.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For past experience for which time is not given<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>e.g. I have worked here.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For a past experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>e.g. We have seen him in the store.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sentences in present perfect tense are created using the following rules:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2018Has\u2019 is used with singular subjects<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2018Have\u2019 is used with I, you and plural subjects<\/p>\n<p><strong>Positive form: <\/strong><strong>Subject + has \/ have + 3rd form of Verb + object<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Examples: <\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>I have seen you at the store.<\/li>\n<li>He has played for his school team.<\/li>\n<li>They have lived in this house for 5 years<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Negative form: <\/strong><strong>Subject + has\/ have + not + 3rd form of Verb + object<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Examples:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>He has not finished his work.<\/li>\n<li>I have not seen you before.<\/li>\n<li>Betty and Dian have not gone school today.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Interrogative form: <\/strong><strong>Has\/ Have + subject + 3rd form of Verb + object + ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Examples:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Have you been to this place before?<\/li>\n<li>Has he reached home?<\/li>\n<li>Has Ryan ironed his clothes?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>SchoolTutoring Academy is the premier educational services company for K-12 and college students.
