I remember a time when I struggled, if I am being honest I struggled multiple times with a lot of subjects. However, there is one subject that I struggled with and still am struggling with and that is why it is worth talking about how I am overcoming it. MATH is the subject that I struggled with and I know a lot people feel the same way too. The way I overcame this struggle wasn\u2019t tutoring, but it was extra studying and practicing math problems day and night. I remember one time when I was in 9th grade I just started pre-algebra and it was the hardest thing I have seen because ever since I was young I never could grasp the concept of the different math skills introduced to me each year. So when I saw numbers mixed with letters it was a whole new ball game. For example: I remember the night before a test I was studying and using math practice problems to study. A few were like this: 2x+6=10, and 5x+3=30. When I look at these problems now I say to myself this is easy, but back then I had to study and watch YouTube videos and watch people do step by step problem solving. After I felt like I got the hang of it I looked up problems and tried solving them. I am the type of person that will show every step and all my work so I know what I have done, because this was also a great study tool to use when I struggled. I had it arranged accordingly for different concepts so it would be easier to understand so when I studied I would know what exactly I am looking at. That being said, Math was the subject I struggled in and I would study by using practice problems and watching other people and that made it easier for me.<\/p>\n
