Rather than focusing solely on skills of reading and writing the curriculum of English Language and Arts emphasizes on developing vocabulary, fluency, phonics, reading with comprehension and writing in such a way that complements the content of other subjects and also meets the demands of career and college level. Students participate in oral presentation and discussion and learn to write on variety of genres such as poems, letters (formal and informal), journals, and fiction and non-fiction stories.
Mathematics curriculum concentrates on teaching basic math concepts and skills in a thorough way throughout the year and from one grade to next. Teachers use rich and challenging content to engage students in solving real world problems and inspire greater interest in the subject. Science and technology focuses on four key areas: Making observations, raising questions, conduct of scientific investigations, and applying the results of scientific investigations.
