Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Clinton Corner TownshipDistrict Curriculum
These districts have a strong history of following national and state standards when implementing curriculum in the classroom. Relying heavily on Common Core Standards, students in Clinton Township learn all aspects of English Language Arts- beginning with phonics and print awareness then continuing to advanced comprehension skills and composition. There is also a strong emphasis on the dramatic arts supported in the Chippewa Valley district by the John R. Armstrong Performing Arts Center.
When it comes to mathematics, Clinton Charter Township students are challenged with real world applications. In the L’Anse Creuse Public Schools, students are encouraged to explore career options and to take advantage of the Frederik V. Pankow Center as well as the two other career centers this district operates. Chippewa Valley Schools also offers its ‘Career Cruising’ program which is designed to help students tailor their secondary education experience.

My daughter was able to improve her test scores after a few months of tutoring with SchoolTutoring. However, while raising test scores is great, the real payoff is in the self-confidence that she gained.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank-you! My son is very impressed with his tutor and looks forward to each session. What’s particularly amazing about this is our son has never really looked forward to math or school for that matter!
We are so happy with the results of your tutoring program and academic support. Homework time was such a stressful evening for the entire evening before we brought your tutors into our home. Thank you for all your help!

Chalk Talk: What is an Intermediate School District?
Michigan is one of the few states that operates educational agencies called Intermediate School Districts. Their function is to serve the needs of local school districts by providing professional development and support to teachers, administrators, and parents. Each ISD usually serves an entire county and sometimes they will also operate schools that serve a special population; for example, those with cognitive impairments.
