Chalk Talk: Staying Involved!

Study after study has shown that parental involvement in a student’s education is one of the largest factors in a student’s success in school. Sometimes parents are very involved during the elementary years than fall off a bit during middle and high school. Staying involved throughout all 12 years of school will help your student to be successful. Staying involved also allows you to notice when your student is struggling and can use extra help! This doesn’t mean that parents need to stand over their child every night to see that homework is completed, engaging in conversations about issues at school is critical parental involvement.
