I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher. Growing up I had always either worked or volunteered with various children’s programs and sports teams. As soon as I stepped into a classroom to start my practice teaching I knew for a fact that this is where I wanted to be.
I aim to provide a welcoming and encouraging learning environment while providing a fun learning experience for my students.
I received my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology and Biology from Acadia University in Nova SScotia. In addition to this, I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and am a certified teacher in Nova Scotia. Over the years, I have also taken several Professional Development courses to improve my skills in the classroom.
I have experience working with students in the classroom and tutoring students one-on-one.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running and other outdoor activities.
