I am passionate about education, both my own and that of the students in my care. I firmly believe that what you put into your education is what you will get out of it, so it has always been my approach to study to learn, not just to get the grade.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree for Secondary Education with an English concentration in 1996 from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. I began my Master’s Degree Program in 2004 and was awarded my Master of Science in Education Technology in 2006 from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. I am also a certified teacher in the state of Idaho.
I have seventeen years of teaching experience in both middle school and high school levels, teaching English and language arts as well as a variety of elective courses that were language arts-based.
I have coached high school volleyball for two years, and I have coached basketball for six years. I have also advised the school yearbook committee for four years and run the school newspaper for three years. I played basketball in both high school and college.
