Education is the foundation for humanity. Everyone has attended school no matter if you are the President of the United States, a doctor, a cashier clerk, or a plumber. School is the time where one determines what interests them. It leads them to a life full of success. I believe the best way to teach someone is to also learn from them. If we learn collectively, it makes the process more enjoyable.

I graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 2014. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and received an award for being the highest achieving undergraduate in the history department. Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s Degree also in Education. Learning has always been a passion of mine and I hope to pass this love of learning on to my students.

I had a very successful student teaching experience with two 8-week placements. I taught 8th Grade US History and and 11th World Cultures. I also have extensive experience tutoring students one-on-one.

I am a very active person who loves being outdoors and exploring new things. I also have a passion for following the sports and entertainment world. Overall, I have a very wide variety of interests.
