My philosophy in teaching is to try to break the information down to a level that is easily understandable. In science, explanation of the meanings and origins of terms is an integral part of the learning process. It helps the student create an association with words that will always remain.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Ministry. I also have and Associate of Applied Science degree in Funeral Service Technology. I am working toward a Masters degree in Thanatology.
I have worked as a community College Instructor teaching in the Funeral Service Technology Program. I have taught many of the science based courses required for this program.
I have worked as Deputy Coroner for my county. Also, I work in Ministry serving at the Christian Chapel church of Christ. Owning my own funeral home, it allows me to use my science teaching experience from practical approach with embalming.
