Ontario Tutoring Programs
Aligned with Provincial Standards
Tutoring fully aligned with Ontario’s provincial curriculum and standards, helping students stay on track, build confidence, and succeed in school.
K-12 Education in Ontario
-
Achievement Levels (1–4)
Ontario uses four achievement levels to assess learning, with Level 3 representing the provincial standard. These levels show how well students meet curriculum expectations, not just their raw marks. -
High School Course Streams
Secondary courses are offered in different streams (Academic, Applied, Open, College, University, and Mixed), shaping post-secondary pathways and future options. -
EQAO Assessments
Province-wide EQAO testing in Grades 3, 6 (Reading, Writing and Math), 9 (Math), and 10 (Literacy Test – OSSLT) measures student progress against Ontario curriculum standards. -
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
Earning the OSSD requires compulsory and elective credits, community involvement hours, and meeting the provincial literacy requirement.
