I believe in the individuality of each student. I believe that the student needs to be known in order to teach them successfully. I believe in modifying the teaching style to better reach each student. I believe in a creative, fun filled, environment for the students’ interest in what they are learning.
I attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University for my bachelor’s degree. This school offers a successful program for upcoming teachers. I feel that my experience there prepared me for the successful teaching style I would fall into. I am very thankful for my education and feel that it has given me a confidence and a readiness to teach for many years to come.
I have been teaching since 2009. I started as a preschool teacher and went on to be a Kindergarten teacher in March of 2010. I have been teaching Kindergarten since then. This will be my 6th year teaching.
My current school has groups for literacy night that I prepare for and attend. We also have a night for plays that show the social studies part of our curriculum.
