I believe that every child is entitled to an education. I feel that, as a teacher, I need to find the best way to teach each student. Students learn differently, therefore the lessons should reflect their learning styles to help them succeed in the classroom.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Education and a Masters of Education with a Reading Specialist certification. I have taught for ten years and enjoyed every minute of it. I feel that all my students have taught me so many different things about learning and about life.

I have taught middle school Language Arts and Social Studies in Catholic schools for 10 years.

I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy reading, playing outside, cooking and visiting with grandparents. While teaching, I was a Student Council and Student Ambassador moderator. I also helped out with the school newspaper.
