I believe that children can learn more efficiently with the right approach, incentive, and environment. It is important to engage the student’s curiosity and attention to retain learned information better. It is imperative that student experience what they learned in a way they can apply it into their own lives to have better understanding and to make better connections.
I attended University of California, Irvine for my undergraduate studies which I received my degree in Sociolgy. Shortly thereafter, I attended National University in Costa Mesa, CA and received by level II clearance for Special Education teaching credential. I received several educational training afterwards in regards to my teaching career.
I started as a classroom instructional aide. After a few months, I began teaching elementary students. I have taught from second grade to seventh grade for all core subjects.
I spend my extra time with my family. I look for ways to enrich my daughters’ lives. I encourage healthy living. We enjoy outside activities such as ice skating, playing at the park, visiting different places, and interacting with different people.
