I enjoy teaching preschoolers. I believe each child are different in their own way and need to be taught as a individual, meaning teaching each child in a way that they can understand it and learn it.
My focus is to make sure that each child is getting enough knowledge to move on to Kindergarten. I will give that child my positive support and learning environment.
I went to Columbus State as got my Associates degree in 1997, majoring in Early Childhood Development and then received a Bachelors Degree in Business at DeVry University. In 2012, I received my Masters Degree in Education focusing on Computer Education and Curriculum Instruction. I also have my Pre-K License through the Department of Education.
I work with the Head Start Program. I started as an Assistant teacher for a few months to get a feel of the Head Start program them moved up to a Lead Teacher. I have been doing this of over 16 years.
I spend much of my time creating and incorporating different motor skills activities for students.
