I believe all students can learn and gain the skills they need to become successful individuals. I believe that students must work hard and be committed to their education. I believe in learning any subject correctly and well. I love teaching and know that it takes dedication, patience, and commitment.
I make education a priority in my life. I am currently working on my 2nd Master’s in Teaching and Teacher Education. I have a Master’s in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.
I have taught 1 year of kindergarten in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have taught 7th grade science for 9 years in Arizona – 6 years in Tempe, and 3 years in Gilbert. My specialities include earth science – astronomy, geology, and environmental science. I also feel confident in teaching high school chemistry.
I run the Ecology Club at my school. This involves sponsoring field trips, after school activities and our School Earth Day Celebration. I have stayed after school on numerous occasions to tutor students. I also participate in school committees on a regular basis.
