I believe in finding each student’s learning type and inspiring them through this avenue. There are many paths to an answer; in order to create a life long learner you need to help them find their path.
I have a Master’s Degree from Arizona State University with a major in Curriculum and Instruction. This was completed in 2007. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Mexico with a major in Criminology. I am certified to teach in the states of Arizona, Colorado and Washington.
I have experience teaching at both the elementary and middle school levels. I have been teaching since 2007.
I attended AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) summer institute in 2008 and subsequently taught the AVID elective class. I coached volleyball in AZ, gymnastics in WA, and Girls on the Run in CO. I also coordinated the Kids Rock program at Connolly Middle School.
