Port Orchard District Curriculum Used in Our In-Home Tutoring Programs
The faculty and staff in South Kitsap School District are dedicated to making sure students achieve their academic goals. To help the students of the district reach these goals, the staff has set up an assessment schedule to allow classroom and individual curriculum to be data driven.
All curriculum and instruction decisions are based on the Washington State Standards. In order to determine whether educational goals for students are being met, teachers work together to create classroom assessments that meet modalities of all students. Classroom assessments include portfolios, essays, projects and oral reports. This essential component of the district curriculum allows students to show what they know outside of the normal mandated state and federal multiple-choice assessments.
We currently cover the following Port Orchard-area school districts: South Kitsap School District.

Middle school and high school students continue to develop fundamental skills by applying them to real world situations in both language arts and math.
