EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe learning can be enjoyable for students through presenting sensible/practical examples and demonstrating how science is observed in real life. I try to establish an interactive atmosphere in the class through which I become familiar with my students’ interests. I use that as a tool to teach different topics in science and motivate my students to become involved in the process of teaching/learning.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I received my PhD degree in mechanical engineering from the University of British Columbia in March 2013. During the past eleven years in academia, I have studied many advanced topics in mathematics and physics. My specialization is the application of advanced mathematical methods to gain a better understanding of complex physical phenomena in real-life problems.
