My teaching philosophy has been that all youth can succeed when given the opportunity, and the proper resources. I believe that literacy and numeracy need to be incorporated in all subject areas, in order to provide the highest quality of learning for all students.

I have a degree from Brock University in Buisiness Communications, while minoring in Geography. I then went onto complete a Masters of Science in Education, with Intermediate and Senior qualifications in Business and Geography. As well, I have completed the Alternative Education qualification course.

I have been an on-call teacher for elementary and secondary schools within the District School Board of Niagara. I also worked with the Niagara School District to create modules based on the Ontario curriculum. Additionally, I have worked with students who are unable to attend secondary school for medical reasons.

In order to give back to my community, I like to get involved with a after hours, foods program for students.
