No two students are the same so teaching approaches should be adjusted as needed. I believe that the role of an educator is to be adaptable. I also believe that educators need to be proactive to ensure the learning environment remains a safe place for questions.

I majored in Civil Engineering at the University of Central Florida and am planning on pursuing a masters program in order to become a secondary math teacher.

I have experience tutoring students one-on-one.

I was highly involved with Engineers Without Borders. I held multiple leadership positions including Marketing Chair, Vice President and I traveled to Haiti to work on a clean water project. I also assisted graduate students with research at the Storm Water Academy.
