EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
My goal is to develop in students an understanding of the importance of history and literature by immersing them in a world of writings and real life drama so that they may find a new passion in the world. Literature and history can, and often do, go hand in hand and through them students can see entirely new ways of life.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I double majored at Pfeiffer University in History and Social Studies. My focus was on World Culture and because of that I studied quite a bit of the literature from varying areas and time periods. I am a member of the Historian’s National Honor Society, Phi Theta Alpha.

I scored a 28 on the ACT and passing scores on the Praxis II for Secondary English.
